Anyone use it? It's not terribly exciting, I'm not sure why it exists (though I have a Facebook account and everyone I care to update can see my "status" there) but I have an account anyway. Lets be friends. I think a lot of celebrities, websites, shows and such are getting on Twitter.

I'm with you, Ornery.. I don't get it. I have Facebook and Twitter seems like a cheap copycat. The only thing is, apparently you can post from your cell phone or something. Who knows?

Anyone with more info is invited to explain the fascination with Twitter.

You could technically post a status on Facebook from your phone too...

Twitter came first and Facebook actually copied the status thing, but still, who just wants to read "I'm putting my socks on" or "I just fell"?

Haha! I learned how to update my status on Facebook from my cell... and I have also figured out I can post photos I snap with my phone cam as well.

Twitter seems to be a large waste of time.....

Only funny thing I've seen on Twitter was this site being set up in a bid to beat Ashton Kutcher to the 1 million followers thing (they didn't manage it).

I've since gotten more into Twitter. Why? I'm not sure. Perhaps it's because more of my friends have signed on to the website so I actually have something to read and someone to post to.
